What's the role?

You'll be the driving force behind how transformation gets done at Westpac. Think big-picture governance, smarter tools, sharper standards, and a single source of truth across the portfolio. You'll lead the uplift of how we deliver change efficiently, consistently, and with impact. From aligning with Tech & Data to streamlining Agile policies and rolling out Planview, you'll make transformation feel less like a buzzword and more like a competitive advantage. Ultimately, you will ensure up-to-date, efficient  policies, standards, controls, processes and tools are in place, so that Transformation delivery teams across Westpac deliver in a standardised, efficient, and compliant way.

What do I need?

  • Deep experience leading complex, cross-divisional transformation programs at scale.
  • Mastery of portfolio management, budgeting, and prioritisation especially in Agile environments. You're a master at balancing transformation policies, standards, controls, processes and tools without losing sight of the customer.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.  You're confident influencing GM and Group Executive's and building strong, collaborative relationships.
  • A sharp eye for governance, reporting, and process design with demonstrable examples of successful delivery.
  • A mindset that challenges the status quo and a toolkit that includes Gen AI and cutting-edge delivery platforms.
