Head of Supply Chain Transformation

A well-known Australian consumer brand is undertaking a major transformation of its national logistics and distribution network. As part of this program, they're seeking a Head of Supply Chain Transformation to lead the review and redesign of the organisation's supply chain model, driving greater scalability, efficiency, and customer service outcomes.
The Role
You will lead the strategic review of existing supply chain operations, evaluate partner performance, and build the business case for a future-ready logistics network.
Key deliverables include:
- Evaluate and map national supply chain operations across multiple DCs
- Lead commercial and performance reviews of external logistics partners
- Design and model insourced vs outsourced logistics scenarios
- Develop business cases and implementation roadmaps for network redesign
- Partner with Finance and Operations to model ROI, costs, and service outcomes
- Build internal analytics and reporting capability to support long-term decisions
About You
You're an experienced supply chain professional with strong commercial acumen and analytical depth. You've led logistics or network transformation programs and can translate operational complexity into clear executive recommendations.
We're looking for:
- 10+ years in supply chain and logistics roles
- Proven experience leading optimisation or transformation programs
- Strong Excel and modelling capability
- Stakeholder influence and executive communication skills
- Experience in retail, consumer goods or omni-channel environments is ideal
