Are you looking to kick-start your career in Communications? Lake Macquarie City Council has a fantastic entry-level opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic professional with excellent communication skills to create and edit photos, video and written content across our digital platforms.
To build meaningful connections between Council, our community and our visitors, the Digital Communications Assistant will assist with the promotion of creative, cultural, historical and tourism experiences managed by the Arts, Culture and Tourism department through social media, copywriting, e-newsletter and website channels while also providing excellent customer service support.
Working collaboratively with our Marketing and Communication specialists, the Digital Communications Assistant will play a key role in developing a wide range of content for website and social media use and support the roll-out of marketing campaigns across the department.
