Duties includes but are not limited to:

  • Loading, unloading and moving garden supplies and equipment
  • Install hardscape and softcape structures
  • Help with cutting of pavers or tiles and preparation of mud or adhesive
  • Prepare lawn and garden bed areas, laying turf, planting and mulching
  • Collecting materials from suppliers
  • General site clean up
  • Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment, including bobcats, backhoes, plate compactors, stone grinders, drills, gas and electric chop saws, demolition hammers, and jackhammers.
  • Operates automatic and manual vehicles, such as ute and truck and trailer combinations.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including worksite and equipment.
  • Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanics of needed repairs.

What you'll need to succeed

  • White Card.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Can do attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols.
  • Operate/use all landscape tools & equipment effectively (advantageous).
  • Operate skid-steer & mini-excavators effectively (advantageous).
  • Valid driver's license & good driving record.
