You will be working on high-end designer landscapes assisting skilled tradespeople by preparing and cleaning sites, transporting materials, operating machinery, and performing manual tasks like digging trenches or mixing concrete.

Responsibilities include following: safety guidelines, maintaining tools and equipment, working as part of a team, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Preparation & Cleanup: Digging pits and trenches, clearing debris, and preparing construction sites for various activities.
  • Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment around the site.
  • Assisting Trades: Providing support to skilled workers in tasks like pouring concrete, erecting scaffolding, and installing fixtures.
  • Equipment Operation: Operating tools and machinery, such as power drills, saws, and sometimes heavy construction vehicles.
  • General Maintenance: Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the work environment and performing basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all safety guidelines, regulations, and project specifications to ensure a safe work environment.

Skills & Requirements

  • Physical Stamina: The ability to lift heavy objects, climb, and perform strenuous physical labour.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skill in using hand and power tools for various tasks.
  • Teamwork: The capacity to work effectively with others and follow directions from supervisors and skilled trades.
  • Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
