An opportunity exists for a Quality and Compliance leader to provide oversight within the clinical governance team with a leading Residential Aged Care facility - NSW & ACT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to Residential and Home Care Managers
  • Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report on quality indicators and audit results across services
  • Support teams with incident investigations and risk mitigation
  • Review self-assessments, address gaps, and support policy implementation
  • Educate and guide staff on regulatory and quality standards
  • Develop reports and resources that promote best practice care
  • Collaborate with education teams to support staff development and compliance
  • Promote a culture of openness, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Motivate teams to maintain excellence in clinical care and safety standards

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years' management experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
  • Proven record in leading quality and compliance initiatives, including audits and data analysis
  • Experience implementing regulatory requirements and supporting accreditation outcomes
  • Skilled in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Experience delivering staff training on quality systems, compliance, and best practice care
  • Involvement in practice change and improvement projects across multiple facilities
  • Strong ability to guide and support managers and staff in clinical governance and quality care
  • Previous experience in a dedicated Quality Management role

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current unrestricted RN AHPRA registration
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  • Satisfactory National police check
  • Valid Australian working rights
