Job Title: Professional Officer-Audit And Risk And Quality

Are you an experienced early childhood professional looking for an exciting opportunity to expand your knowledge and further your career?

Children's Education and Care Assurance (CECA) is currently undertaking recruitment for temporary Professional Officers to work with the Audit and Risk and Quality Assurance teams to commence immediately. Temporary positions have the possibility of extension or permanency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in partnership with education and care providers in supporting compliance and promoting quality for children and their families in education and care settings under the Education and Care Services National Law (ACT) Act 2011 and support compliance in education and care settings governed by the Children and Young People Act 2008.
  • Tertiary qualifications in early childhood education and care are required. Related qualifications may be considered. The successful applicant may be required to undertake an Authorised Officer Training program delivered by ACECQA.

  • Well-developed priority management capabilities
