We are seeking a polished and professional waiter with experience in premium service environments to join our team in Sydney.
We're looking for someone with a strong customer service focus, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences. If you're looking to take your hospitality skills into a corporate setting this is the role for you
The shifts for this role are dynamic, this role includes five 8-hour shifts a week between 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. There may also be occasional evening events.
What you'll do
- Coordinate with the Client Services Coordinator and servery team to confirm food, beverage, and room setup requirements for meetings and events
- Monitor scheduled functions and services via the meeting room booking system, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery in line with established procedures
- Provide attentive waiter service and basic audio-visual or video conferencing support during meetings and events
- Ensure meeting rooms are promptly cleared, cleaned, and restocked after each session, maintaining a high standard of presentation
- Restock meeting room equipment and consumables daily, ensuring correct stock rotation and maintenance of par levels
- Assist with monitoring and ordering of consumables, and accurately record stock usage
- Support occasional kitchen duties and assist with after-hours or off-site events as required
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in premium hospitality settings such as boardrooms, restaurants, or hotels, with a strong focus on professional table service
- Proficient in Silver Service techniques and confident in delivering a high-end guest experience
- Holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook for basic communication and scheduling tasks
- Committed to delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional, and proactive approach
- Works well as part of a collaborative team, supporting colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive work environment.
