This is a permanent full-time position Monday to Friday, 7.30-4pm. Based in Forest Hill. The role will be responsible for producing the roster for a multiple disciplinary workforce across Home and Community Services, ensuring that resourcing meets client demand for service delivery and maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations.
Our Roster Coordinators need to take a commercial view, to enable an effective balance to be achieved between optimising staffing efficiency and maximising staff satisfaction. This role will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure rosters reflect resource needs and meet service delivery demands.
'A week in the life'
- Produce and maintain all staff rosters to enable an effective balance to be achieved between optimising staffing efficiency and maximising staff satisfaction.
- Identify and actively manage any foreseeable capacity gaps to ensure service delivery is optimised.
- Ensure the roster is completed and available to staff in a timely manner that meets multiple Enterprise Agreement requirements.
- Effectively coordinate both planned and unplanned leave of staffing resources.
- Undertake administrative activities related to managing the roster, including but not limited to inputting and updating staff details and attendance preferences.
- Audit actual staff attendance against the planned roster and alert the relevant stakeholder of discrepancies.
- Review the roster against set performance targets and recommend actions and strategies to key stakeholders to improve performance and overall efficiencies.
What do we need from you?
- The ability to interpret and understand multiple Enterprise Agreements.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills relevant to dealing with shift or roster allocation scenarios.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Experience gained in a similar role including the navigation of multiple platforms.
- Highly developed communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in decision making within a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office).
- Up-to-date Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
- Covid-19 Vaccination.
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain).
