About us
Hi there We're Five Good Friends, and we're an approved aged care and registered NDIS service provider. We help our clients (we call them Members) live vibrantly in their own homes by wrapping a care team around them and their families. Our software coordinates in the background so our teams can do their best work. Our carers (we call the Helpers) play a key role in creating the magic for our members. Five Good Friends strives to form high-quality, long-lasting connections between Members and their Helpers.
About the Role
Working collaboratively with the Helper Coordinators and Rostering Support Team Leader, this permanent full-time position will be responsible for ensuring all assigned Member visits are delivered. This will include arranging Helpers to cover emergency and temporary visit vacancies when regular Helpers are absent, unavailable or when a Member is awaiting a new long-term match.
Our rostering team operates 365 days a year. Our team runs active shifts from 6.00am -8.00pm Monday through Friday and 6.00am-5.00pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have an On Call roster outside of these hours that you will participate in. This position will work Full Time hours across 4 days a week. The roster will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (week 1) and Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (week 2).
Here are some of the tasks you would be doing across your day:

Utilise the Five Good Friends software and innovative App to identify and contact suitable helpers to cover short-term, one-off and emergency vacant services.

Rostering for both independent contractor Helpers and employee Helpers.

Liaise with Care Teams when creative problem solving may be required to fulfil services.

Communicate roster changes to Members and their Care Team as required.

Answer the Helper and Member phone and texting Hotlines, triaging and resolving queries.

Ensure every Helper has compliant verifications for the Members they are matched with, e.g. - aged care and NDIS worker screening.
Do you have what it takes?
-
1+ years experience in rostering essential.
-
Experience within the health, aged care, community care or disability sectors will be highly regarded.

Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Understanding of (or the ability to acquire knowledge of) Aged Care and NDIS requirements relevant to workforce rostering and compliance is essential.

Understanding of the Fair Work Act and SCHADS award and ability to apply accordingly to roster employees will be highly regarded.

Highly IT literate, with the ability to quickly learn technology.
