We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Rosmul Mechanical team as a Mechanic. In the role you will conduct repairs and preventative maintenance of ground support equipment as well as the airport bus transport fleet. Working predominantly airside you will utilise your technical skills on a variety of vehicles and machinery.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance of fleet and GSE equipment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide the most efficient outcome
  • Run Diagnostics on difficult problems and make effective plans on required repairs
  • Collaborate with the Rosmul team on responding to breakdowns and effectively managing your time
  • Work on specialised GSE equipment, gaining great exposure to the aviation industry
  • Ensure a safety-first approach is at the forefront when working at Rosmul Mechanical
  • Work collaboratively with the mechanical team where possible to drive team growth, knowledge and exposure
  • Report on all work tasks using our system on a daily basis
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients

About you:

  • Mechanic Trade Qualification
  • Light Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Welding knowledge/ experience is desirable
  • Exposure to GSE is desirable but not required
  • Hold a current, valid Driver's License
  • 5+ years in the Mechanical trade across a variety of light/ heavy engine maintenance
  • Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems and breakdown maintenance desirable
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously and problem solve independently and be a team player
  • Strong organisational skills and proactive problem-solving ability
  • Must have full Australian Work Rights

This role will require preemployment checks, including a police clearance and obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) for airside maintenance and drug and alcohol screening.
