The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a qualified Fitter - Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to the safe and efficient operation of our mechanical systems and supports the continued growth of our company.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical parts and systems in machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnosing faults and performing maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Aligning and testing mechanical systems and ensuring components function correctly.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS standards and company policies.
  • Maintaining detailed service records and completing maintenance reports.
  • Collaborating with engineers and other team members to improve systems and processes.
  • Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent qualification) 3 years of relevant experience can be used in lieu of qualifcaton.
  • At least 1 years experience in a similar role.
  • Functional english
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical fitting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Sound knowledge of workshop safety and mechanical systems.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with tools and machinery.
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
