We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our experienced team. This is a full-time, hands-on role that requires mechanical problem-solving, teamwork, and a strong focus on quality workmanship and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, commissioning, and modification of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Maintain, service, and repair a range of mechanical components and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with tradespeople, engineers, and supervisors on workshop and site-based tasks.
  • Experience working on Caterpillar engines is highly regarded.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required, within the scope of your skills and capabilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting).
  • Current C-Class Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and apply mechanical principles effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail.
