Key Responsibilities:

Administration & Office Support

  • Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and general supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting material requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, deliveries, and pricing.
  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating new suppliers and materials.

  • Maintain purchasing and stock control records in ERP or accounting systems.

  • Process customer quotes, sales orders, and dispatch documentation accurately.

  • Provide product information, pricing, and order status updates.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and correspondence as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics and freight bookings when required.
  • Support accounts with supplier invoices, purchase matching, and approvals.
  • Provide general administrative support to management and operations.
  • Liaise with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Manage customer records and maintain CRM data.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in customer service, purchasing, or administration within a manufacturing or food industry environment.
  • Experience in any one of the areas of customer service, purchasing, or administration is sufficient to meet the requirements for this role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both customers and suppliers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g. MYOB, Pronto, or similar) highly regarded.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
  • Food industry or manufacturing background desirable but not essential.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
