We are a small financial services firm based in Keysborough where every person is a valued key member of staff.

We are currently looking to fill an administration role that is extremely structured and focussed on particular areas of our business.

This role will be Part Time with the hours being predetermined to line up with other team members:

Tuesday 9:30am to 4pm

Wednesday 9:30am to 3:30pm

Thursday 9:30am to 3:30pm

A total of 17 hours per week. Both annual and sick leave are pro-rated accordingly. If applying please take into account the small number of hours on offer; the salary is commensurate on the role, not your experience.

The person who will best suit this role will be a positive, efficient and friendly individual who enjoys working as part of a small team, performing set tasks each day. You will be task oriented and enjoy ticking things off your to do list without sacrificing the highest professional standards. Your work ethic will be outstanding. You will be comfortable working across various professional disciplines such as Financial Planning, Accounting and Customer Service.

We are keen to develop from within, so ideally you are from the financial services sector, possibly even studying to be an adviser. PY candidates (or within 12 months of qualifying for PY) will be highly regarded, with the role moving to full time quickly upon becoming qualified for the right candidate.

Your phone manner will be exemplary and your ability to learn and adhere to processes will be your biggest asset in performing the key tasks of the role.

To secure this role, we expect you to have possibly 5 years experience in general administration, ideally in a small business environment and will be extremely proficient in all of the common electronic business tools, including Office, Outlook, internet, etc and will be comfortable learning and using software packages specific to the industry without excessive training.

You must be able to demonstrate your command of MS Office products, (which we will be conducting a live test at interview) along with your ability to learn, adapt and improve online programs. As a key member of staff, we need you to be able to work independently whilst interlocking as part of a multitasking team. As such, you need to understand objectives and own your part of projects and processes rather than just treating them as a task to be done.

Despite this role initially being part time, we want someone who will "stick", as there are many career opportunities in a year or two for anybody who wants to have a full career in the financial services sector.
