We are recognised as an industry leader, providing turnkey solutions in chemical dosing control & monitoring equipment to all water treatment sectors including, Commercial, manufacture, food & beverage, Swimming Pool & Spa, mining, Horticulture & more.
A permanent full-time position is available, based in Keysborough.
We are looking for a personable individual to commence immediately. Training will be provided on the job and will be ongoing to ensure you have the skills and ability to complete your work.
A successful candidate will have:
- Strong ability to read, analyse, and interpret job requirements and parts.
- Solid understanding of the points allocation system.
- Excellent people and communication skills. Able to train and guide other production staff, fostering collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Proficient in the use of all equipment and tools in the production.
- Ready to commence immediately.
- Previous assembly experience-electrical, electronic or plumbing highly regarded
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong work ethic with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Commitment to safe work practise around machinery.
- Competent in computer literacy & technical aptitude
- Candidates with a water treatment background or experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble water treatment equipment with precision and a strong focus on detail
- Interpret production orders and technical diagrams to ensure proper assembly and assembly steps.
- Demonstrate strong skill in reading and understanding workorders to identify components and sequence assembly steps
- Undertake training in all areas of production. i.e. cutting, gluing, testing, packing.
- Ensure a good understanding on the proper use of all tooling and equipment in the production area maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Follow all manufacturing procedures accurately , ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, contributing to a positive team environment.
- Complete tasks within the timelines set by the production manager, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone as needed, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions.
- Assist admin staff as required, including help with order processing or other administrative tasks.
Key Requirements
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic — always bringing a proactive and can-do approach to tasks.
· Physically fit and capable of lifting over 20kg as required for assembly and production tasks.
· Able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, maintaining productivity and quality under pressure.
· High attention to detail, ensuring every task is completed accurately and thoroughly.
· Strong understanding of written material (such as work orders, technical manuals, and safety guidelines).
· Ability to show initiative and think creatively, offering solutions to improve processes or overcome challenges.
