Your New Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Tyrecycle by Ozcom team in Ipswich, QLD, team on a Full-Timebasis.

This is a multi-skilled plant operation across brand new state of the art tyre recycling equipment

You will have key responsibility in:

  • Sort tyres/recyclable materials according to prescribed criteria
  • Operate forklift/bobcat/excavator to move materials for processing, sorting, storing and transporting
  • Operate recycling processing equipment including but not limited to crushers, shredders, granulators and sorters to meet or exceed market requirements
  • Unload materials from trucks
  • Remove contamination from recyclable material
  • Load materials into containers
  • Maintain production standards
  • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunction and other maintenance and repair needs to the Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Clean plant equipment and work areas
  • Perform other duties as per business requirements
  • Foster and promote safe working behaviours and display a commitment to Tyrecycle safety standards and OHS requirements at all times

About you:

  • Current driver's licence

  • Previous plant operating experience with current license or the ability to obtain licence for:

  • Forklift (required)

  • Bob Cat
  • HR and HC
  • Front End Loader
  • Excavator
  • Proven commitment to health and safety
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
  • Personal drive and results orientated
