We are a fast-growing packaging distribution company with a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence. We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Bookkeeping Officer to join our team in Brisbane. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key part in keeping the business running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounts & Bookkeeping

  • Manage accounts receivable: issue invoices, send statements, follow up overdue payments, and liaise with customers.
  • Manage accounts payable: process supplier bills, prepare payment runs, reconcile accounts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are correctly allocated in Xero.
  • Run weekly and monthly reports (Aged Receivables, Payables, Cash Flow, P&L, etc.) for management.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.

Administration & Customer Service

  • Support day-to-day office operations.
  • Handle inbound customer calls and assist with enquiries.
  • Support the sales team with admin tasks as required.
  • General office duties to keep everything running efficiently.

About You:
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounts or admin.
  • Proficiency with Xero is a MUST.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
