Our client, in the building and construction industry has an exciting 12-month Parental Fixed Term Contract opportunity available for a Contracts Administrator based in Sydney CBD.

You will be working for a trusted provider of integrated facilities management, asset management and construction services throughout Australia.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial part in supporting the team with high volume administration and coordination. You will be based on-site, in 'state-of-the-art', offices minutes' walk to Town Hall station and working with a team to ensure the smooth running of the account.

About the role:

The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing the tracking, allocation and maintenance of all work requests, ensuring their optimal use and efficiency.

Duties will include

  • Update the CMMS system
  • Review and cross check information
  • Allocate work to relevant contractors (Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical etc)
  • Ensuring asset registers comply with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Manage contract documentation and assist with reporting milestones
  • Participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings
  • Provide regular updates to contractors

About you

  • You're a details person and process pride in your work
  • Ideally you have had previous experience in a Contracts Administration, Facilities Coordinator role within a Facilities or Construction company
  • A highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Strong Administrative skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills: Proficiency in the MS Office Suite of products including MS Project, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are critical

Requirements:

  • National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Facilities Maintenance experience is desirable
