About the role

We are seeking an experienced Administrator and Data Entry staff member to join our team at Discount Party World Pty Ltd in Taren Point, NSW. This part-time role will be responsible for providing administrative support, accurate online systems data management and customer services to ensure the smooth running of our business operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide general administrative support, including helping answering the phone, replying emails to the customers and suppliers, provide excellent customer services to our customers in store, on the phone and by emails.
  • Communicate with suppliers and raise credits to the suppliers
  • Accurately enter data into our online selling systems and platforms and maintain the accurancy of the data in our online selling systems and platforms
  • Edit and upload photos on our online systems and platform
  • Processing and organising shipping of customer orders
  • General ad hoc administrative tasks. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required

What we're looking for

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Excellent data entry and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative or data entry role, preferably in the retail or customer service industry
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and data management systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
