The Enlistment Team Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the enlistment process for candidates joining the Australian Defence Force (ADF). This position is responsible for leading a team of enlistment coordinators to ensure seamless coordination of enlistment activities, adherence to regulatory requirements, and delivery of exceptional candidate experiences.

Job Description
The Enlistment Team Leader provides leadership and direction, mentors team members, and collaborates closely with stakeholders to optimise enlistment procedures. With a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, the Enlistment Team Leader contributes to the effective recruitment and onboarding of ADF personnel, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
You will:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of Enlistment Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Work with the Target Fulfillment & Enlistment Lead and senior leaders to forecast, plan and develop Target Fulfillment strategies.
- Oversee and manage the enlistment process for candidates, ensuring all procedures are followed and documentation is accurately processed.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the enlistment journey, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, organisational policies, and standards of practice in enlistment operations.
- Monitor team performance and productivity, setting goals, and providing coaching to achieve enlistment targets and KPIs.
- Review and analyse operational performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, providing comprehensive reporting and insights to Recruitment and Events Delivery leadership team as required and requested.
- Attend and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly target and enlistment delivery meetings, with data insights, progress reporting of delivery achievement, issue identification and remediation planning
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including recruitment teams and ADF personnel, to streamline enlistment processes and resolve issues.
- Conduct quality checks on enlistment documentation and processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains in enlistment procedures, implementing improvements as needed.
- Prepare regular reports on enlistment activities, outcomes, and performance metrics for senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enlistment coordinators to uplift skills and knowledge.

Your background will demonstrate:
- Proven experience and knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment process, including best practice approaches in line with current industry benchmark.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching a team through the recruitment lifecycle whilst delivering high quality, excellent end-to-end recruitment and an enhanced client and candidate experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor delivery to varying stakeholder levels and preferences.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage competing priorities and maintain quality service delivery when working under pressure.
A collaborative approach to building professional relationships and working within a team to contribute to the team vision.
