The Key Account Advisor is responsible for supporting the management and retention of a defined portfolio of Workers Compensation clients, working closely with brokers, end clients and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient, consistent, and customer-focused service.
The role focuses on execution, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring the GIO service model is consistently applied across smaller and lower-complexity portfolios.
While Key Account Managers lead strategic engagement with major clients and brokers, the Key Account Advisor plays a critical role in supporting this by driving efficiency, responsiveness, and high-quality service delivery to strengthen overall client satisfaction and retention outcomes.
What you'll do (not limited to):
- Support the management and retention of a portfolio of Workers Compensation clients through proactive and responsive service delivery
- Support growth objectives by identifying and referring new business or cross-sell opportunities
- Provide feedback and insights to the Key Accounts leadership team on portfolio performance and emerging trends
- Capture, communicate and document client and broker feedback to inform continuous improvement
- Work with Claims Leaders and Underwriting to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
What you will bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial insurance or workers compensation
- Demonstrated experience in account servicing, client management or portfolio support roles
- Exposure to broker-intermediated business or customer service in a complex environment
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Demonstrated understanding of workers compensation principles and processes.
