Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef Italian Cuisine to oversee the preparation and cooking of our traditional Italian dishes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine and be able to create unique and delicious dishes that will delight our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes according to traditional recipes and our restaurant's standards

- Ensure all dishes are of high quality, visually appealing, and served in a timely manner

- Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials

- Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in accordance with food safety standards

- Assist with menu planning and cost control to ensure profitability

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques in Italian cuisine

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef Italian Cuisine or similar role

- In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques

- Ability to create and execute new and unique dishes

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

- Minimum of Certificate IV in Cookery/Kitchen Management

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
