Established in 1981, Ryrie Office Machines has been supporting businesses across Geelong and the surrounding region for over four decades. We specialise in the supply, installation and servicing of office equipment, and we are proud to be known for our strong local reputation and personalised customer service.

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded individual to join our growing team.

About the Role

This full-time, hands-on role involves:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing office technology including printers, copiers, and multifunction devices

  • Attending breakdown calls and delivering on-site support across the Geelong region

  • Troubleshooting equipment faults and performing preventative maintenance

  • Representing Ryrie with professionalism, reliability, and great customer service

You will be working independently in the field with full support from our experienced service team.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a background in technology – whether that's formal training, hands-on experience, or a strong interest in electronics, IT, or networking.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Technical aptitude and logical problem-solving skills

  • Great communication and a professional attitude

  • Confidence working with customers and equipment in real-world settings

  • A strong desire to learn and grow with a trusted local team

Previous experience working with office equipment is advantageous but not required – full manufacturer and on-the-job training will be provided.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • A current driver's licence (manual preferred)

  • Basic understanding of IT systems, electronics, or networking

  • Sound computer skills (especially Windows environments)

  • The ability to perform some heavy lifting

  • A neat presentation and a positive, proactive approach
