**Position Summary**:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing medical equipment within client facilities.
Your role will involve conducting scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This is a critical position that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspections, and calibration of medical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary.
- Document maintenance, repair, and calibration activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with clients regarding equipment status, repair timelines, and any potential equipment issues.
- Maintain an inventory of necessary parts, equipment, and tools to ensure prompt and efficient repair work.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations, including changes to equipment standards and maintenance practices.
- Participate in training and certification programs to maintain and improve technical skills.
- Adhere to company and client policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
**Requirements**:
- **Previous relevant experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role, preferably in the medical equipment industry.
- ** Technical knowledge**: Strong understanding of medical equipment operation, maintenance, and repair techniques is preferred, not essential.
- ** Problem-solving skills**: Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
- ** Compliance mindset**: Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with a commitment to ensuring compliance in all aspects of the job.
- ** Time management**: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
- ** Communication skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with healthcare staff and effectively convey equipment status, repair timelines, and potential issues.
- ** Inventory management**: Experience in managing spare parts inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary items for repairs.
- ** Adaptability**: Flexibility to work independently and adapt to changing work schedules, including on-call or outside regular business hours, if required.
- ** Valid driver's license**: Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer's locations.
- ** Continuous learning**: Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, equipment standards, and maintenance practices through training and certification programs.
- ** Vaccinations**: Given the nature of the work, staff are required to have their COVID-19, and annual influenza vaccinations.
