Our Geelong-based client is looking for a Service Technician to join their team.

**Your new role**

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial equipment, such as washers, dryers and folders
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with the equipment and providing solutions
- Performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections of laundry equipment
- Providing technical support and training to staff on how to operate and maintain laundry equipment
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete service calls and projects
- Following company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
- Reporting any issues or feedback to the Manager

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing fields
- A current driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- A customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision and use initiative
- The knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and industry standards (preferred but not essential)
