About the Role

The Residential Services Admissions Officer plays a key role in supporting admissions to Residential Care. This includes preparing admission applications, completing Residential Care Agreements, and working closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure a smooth transition into care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents and families through the admissions process, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, assessments, and financial obligations.
  • Maintain and update waiting lists, respite admissions, and related statistics.
  • Assist with asset assessments to determine financial status and liaise with the Residential Services Business Manager on financial matters.
  • Coordinate client meetings, facility viewings, and admissions with Directors of Nursing/Managers.
  • Collaborate with Social Workers, Case Managers, and Health Information Services to support timely and accurate admissions.
    Provide guidance to the Residential Finance Team and ensure compliance with legislative requirements- .

Skills & Experience

  • Proven customer service experience with a strong focus on supporting residents and families.
  • Knowledge of residential care processes, legislation, and admission requirements.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
