Contract Administrator – Residential Building Projects

Location: Sydney, NSW

We are a well-established and growing construction company based in Sydney, delivering high-quality residential building projects across the region. With an increasing pipeline of exciting projects, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team.

About the Role

As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the project and site teams to ensure the smooth delivery of our residential builds. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Assist with project cost control, progress claims, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, registers, and filing systems.
  • Support Project Managers in the administration of construction projects from commencement through to completion.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry (residential preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, documentation, and processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and construction software (e.g., Procore, Cheops, or similar).
  • A proactive and detail-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
