THE ROLE

Kitchen Team Leader — Kosta's

We're looking for a passionate foodie to join the Kosta's team This is a daytime kitchen leadership role at one of our stores, working alongside one other team member. If you love creating simple, delicious food and want to build your kitchen and leadership skills, this could be the perfect fit.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and motivate a small kitchen team
  • Take ownership of daily kitchen operations
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality food that meets Kosta's standards
  • Communicate clearly with front-of-house and kitchen teams for VIP customer Service
  • Manage time, priorities, and kitchen tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Follow all recipes, procedures, and routines exactly as specified
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
  • Keep stock under control, minimise waste, and help manage cost of goods
  • Support the smooth running of the store and create a great customer experience

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years' kitchen experience and some leadership or supervisory experience
  • Someone who understands how their work supports the success of the store
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to consistency and quality
  • A good communicator who works well with others
  • Full working rights (no student or working holiday visas, please)

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
