The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor who is dedicated to leading our dynamic kitchen crew through our busy service periods. This individual must have natural leadership qualities and be highly capable of keeping a calm and composed crew working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cordinate & motivate our kitchen crew during shifts through hands-on leadership
  • Ensure smooth and efficient operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in line with our authentic recipes
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of fresh ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Personally master all of the roles in the kitchen in order to impart that knowledge through the training and mentoring of others
  • Handle minor equipment maintenance and report major issues
  • Contribute to a positive guest experience through delivering exceptional food.

General role requirements

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in a supervisory role within a busy kitchen environment preferrably in casual dining
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques and a passion for fresh, authentic ingredients.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
