Join The Standard Market Company. We are a leading gourmet food retailer located in the bustling Ferry Road Markets in Southport. We specialize in high-quality products across our butcher shops, delis, fruit shops, bakeries, and juice and gelati bars.

We currently have Casual Customer Service Assistant vacancies to fill within our Ferry Road Markets team. In this role, you will be working within a close knit, hard-working team to deliver outstanding customer service.

This position is available for an immediate start. Our ideal candidate will have flexibility to fill shifts during the week and weekend (20-25hours per week).

What the position involves:

  • Providing exceptional Customer Service
  • EFTPOS and cash handling skills essential
  • Help with displays for set up and re-stocking of the store
  • Cleaning duties

To be successful in this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Previous customer service experience within the hospitality or food retail industry
  • Experience working in fast paced environments
  • Reliable and hardworking
  • Friendly personality who will thrive in a team environment
