The opportunity:
Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity now exists for a Client Development Manager to join our Group Insurance team.
As a Client Development Manager, you will represent AIA by leveraging your business acumen and highly developed interpersonal skills to manage the relationship with one of our major partners. Crucial to the success of our business, you will play a pivotal role in achieving continued growth and value between AIA and the client.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne or Sydney.
To do this successfully you will:
- Contribute to the achievement of revenue and profit targets, increased premium flow and the overall profitability for the group insurance business
- Manage and maintain client relationships and contribute to the formulation, negotiation and implementation of strategic enhancements to the Fund's insurance arrangements
- Contribute to strategy definition and implementation, ensuring all internal stakeholders are engaged, to achieve profitability and retention targets
- Proactively resolve any issues in relation to group insurance offering (product, price, service) as appropriate and escalation to Client Lead where required
- Identify, make recommendations for and play a key role in the implementation for process, product and service improvements within the team's client portfolio
- Proactively develop and maintain day to day relationships with clients within the team's portfolio
Successful applications will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience working within a Client Development or similar role. Group life insurance is preferred
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external
- Strong experience and background in compliance, regulatory requirements and legislation
- Experience working within superannuation or group life insurance industries will be highly regarded
- Good commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills and the ability to provide tailored solutions for clients
