About the role

Climacool Air Conditioning & Electrical is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Technician to join our team in Morningside, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing high-quality air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair services to our residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Undertake preventative maintenance and servicing on a wide range of air conditioning systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning units, including refrigeration, electrical and mechanical components
  • Install new air conditioning systems and associated equipment, following manufacturer specifications
  • Advise customers on the best air conditioning solutions for their needs and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed and order necessary parts and equipment

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration, such as a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
  • ARC Tick licence & QBCC licence
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an air conditioning service technician, with demonstrated expertise in both residential and commercial systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide clear, technical advice to clients
  • A valid driver's licence
  • A passion for providing high-quality air conditioning solutions and exceptional customer service
