Located in the northern suburbs of Perth our clients are a growing and highly successful mining services and construction company.

Due to growth of the finance team a newly created vacancy has opened for an assistant accountant.

The organization offers multiple services and divisions and employ over 400 people.

With a low staff turnover this is a fantastic organization to have a long - term career as the successful candidate will receive fantastic promotion prospects and on-going training.

The position:

  • Assist with Payroll team
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable team
  • Assisting the finance manager, financial accountant and management accountant with group accounting
  • Some finance team administration
  • Day to day accounts
  • Assist with month end accounts
  • Full time hours
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce required
  • Proficiency in MYOB/Xero and advanced Excel skills essential
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar assistant accountant position
  • Must have permanent right to work in Australia
