Part-time Payroll Officer

Our clients requires an experienced individual to assist the Payroll supervisor plus another Senior Payroll officer. This is initially for a 6 months period, 3 days per week.

The role:

Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, your role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Processing the organisations payroll
  • Manual data entry of timesheets
  • Preparing payments of regular payrolls
  • Calculation of termination, redundancies and other ad hoc payments
  • Preparing and Verifying the monthly accruals for salaries and benefits
  • Ensuring payroll queries are handled in a courteous and timely manner via phone and email
  • Assisting with payment summaries at the end of the financial year
  • Assisting the team reconciling the month end actual data and accruals
  • Assisting with month end closing processes including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliation
  • Some HR duties

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Experience in end to end payroll
  • Ability to work well with others and good communication skills
  • Good excel skills
