Immediate start for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to assist within the accounts payable team of a high-profile organisation.

Our client is one of the regions' most sort after employers that have grown significantly over the past calendar year. This continued growth has led to an increase in workload in the Accounts Payable department, and they are requiring an additional team member to start immediately on a 3-month temporary contract.
As Accounts Payable Officer you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end processing of invoices, expenses, month end clearings, and reconciling the balance sheet account.
Based in the Northwest suburbs of Melbourne, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationally recognised industry leader, working as an integral member of a high-performance team.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for:
- Processing of vendor invoices
- Processing expenses, including managing the corporate cared program
- Account reconciliations
- Internal reporting regarding weekly and monthly expenses.
- Scheduling and preparing payments
- Communicating with suppliers to resolve queries.
- Month end activities
- Identify and manage process improvements.
**Your Profile**
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 12 months' experience in a high-volume transactional environment. You will need to demonstrate prior practical experience working with ERP accounting software, as well as possess an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups).
Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
