Job Summary
At HUB24, we are developing innovative financial platforms that transform how customers work, making quality financial advice more accessible and affordable for all Australians. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge data technologies, including Databricks and SQL, to design, develop, and maintain scalable data and reporting applications. You will play a key role in data presentation, analysis, and infrastructure improvements, contributing to the success of HUBconnect Licensee and driving impactful business outcomes. This position offers a growth-focused environment with continuous learning opportunities in the evolving field of data engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions using SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, Databricks, and PowerShell.
  • Translate client data into meaningful, insightful, and visually compelling reports.
  • Optimise reporting solutions for performance and usability across multiple applications.
  • Collaborate within an agile team to deliver high-quality, impactful reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Mentor and support fellow engineers, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
  • Drive innovation by challenging existing processes and recommending improvements.
  • Participate in the development of data infrastructure and application enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and 3+ years' IT experience (financial services or consulting highly regarded).
  • Proficiency in SSRS, Power BI, SQL (ETL and data extraction).
  • Understanding of SDLC, relational databases, and database design.
  • Desirable skills: Tabular/data warehouse modelling, PowerShell, Agile, Databricks, AI/ML in visualisation, UX/UI for data visuals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to deliver solutions independently and in a team, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Passion for technology and growth.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused.
  • Contributes ideas, improves processes, and sees tasks through to completion.
