About the Role

As our Data and Reporting Analyst, you'll be the technical bridge between raw data and business intelligence, empowering strategic and operational decision-making across RS.

  • Data Excellence: Design and maintain robust data architecture, establishing governance standards and quality standards that ensure reliable, accessible data across all business units.
  • Insights and Analytics: Develop dynamic dashboards and visualisations using Power BI and Excel, delivering real-time performance insights that drive commercial decisions and operational improvements
  • Financial Partnership: Collaborate with Finance on revenue analysis, margin tracking, and forecasting tools while supporting critical month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Compliance and Risk: Build and maintain compliance dashboards for regulatory reporting while monitoring data quality metrics to identify and mitigate operational risks
  • Innovation & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, lead data integration projects, and champion new analytics technologies
  • Stakeholder Impact: Translate complex technical requirements into clear business solutions, conduct training to enhance organisational data literacy, and present compelling insights to support executive decision-making.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Advanced SQL proficiency with strong hands-on experience in Power BI and Power Query
  • Expertise in data engineering, modelling principles, and ETL processes
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business language
  • Strong track record managing complex data projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders

Highly Valued:

  • Experience with cloud-based ERPs (particularly NetSuite)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and DAX
  • Experience in the Recoveries, Legal or Mercantile services sector
  • Professional certifications in data analytics or BI tools
