Bakers Delight Rye is seeking a motivated, qualified baker to become part of our friendly and energetic team.

About the Role

We're looking for a full-time qualified baker (38 hours per week) who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. You'll be responsible for producing a wide range of bakery products to Bakers Delight's high standards of quality, freshness, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce bakery products according to Bakers Delight standards
  • Ensure all products meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards
  • Weigh, mix, and prepare doughs and fillings
  • Operate bakery equipment and ovens safely and efficiently
  • Decorate products with glazes, icings, and toppings
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Work cooperatively with the baking team to meet production schedules

What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualified or minimum 3 years' baking experience (preferred)
  • Flexible availability across 7 days, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team spirit
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
