We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Baker to join our team and learn the craft of artisan baking.

About the Role:

As an Apprentice Baker, you will work alongside experienced bakers to learn all aspects of the baking trade. You'll gain hands-on experience producing a wide range of traditional and specialty breads, pastries, and other bakery items while completing your formal training requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, production, and baking of high-quality bread and bakery products
  • Learn and follow all Bakers Delight recipes, production schedules, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment
  • Follow food safety standards and occupational health and safety procedures
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets and customer demand
  • Participate in stock control, storage, and waste minimisation processes
  • Develop technical baking skills and product knowledge under the supervision of qualified bakers
  • Undertake training modules and attend required off-site training as part of the apprenticeship

  • Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as required
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • No previous baking experience necessary – full training provided
