Bakers Delight in Cheltenham is located at 320 Charman Road, VIC 3192, Australia. We offer a variety of snacks, including the Spinach & Fetta Twisted Delight and Mediterranean Pizza. We pride themselves on using real ingredients and have a passionate baking team. We offer online ordering with delivery options through third parties. The bakery operates Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and on weekends until 5:30 PM.

About the role:

Baker's delight currently has a vacancy for an experienced Baker to join our team. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled baker to contribute to the production of high-quality baked goods and pastries.

Employment type: Permanent, Full time

Salary Range: $70,000 to $76,000 plus guaranteed superannuation

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and baking a variety of breads, rolls, pastries and other baked goods using established recipes and techniques
  • Ensuring all baked products meet quality and presentation standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout the baking process
  • Assisting in the stocking and rotation of ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Skills and Experience:

· AQF Certificate III or higher.

· Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredient properties and food safety standards.

· Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, be reliable and have great attention to detail

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Able to bake a range of pastries and bread (croissant, scrolls and sourdough)

· Passion for creating high-quality baked goods

· Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

· Have at least three years of commercial baking experience.

· Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
