Help shape the future of infrastructure in NSW with Infrastructure NSW (INSW).
About the Role
We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior Policy Officer to join our Strategy, Planning and Innovation team.
In this role, you'll support the delivery of Infrastructure NSW's Coordinator General functions and contribute to key initiatives like the State Infrastructure Strategy (SIS).
Your work will focus on developing evidence-based policy advice that addresses major infrastructure challenges with social, economic, and environmental impacts across NSW.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing research reports, data analysis, and visualisations to support strategic communications and decision-making.
- Identifying infrastructure challenges and opportunities to inform policy recommendations.
- Evaluating and advising on policy options aligned with INSW's strategic objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

About You
You bring tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as public policy, law, economics, planning, sustainability, engineering, or data science, or equivalent professional experience. You have a sharp eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data. Experience in infrastructure coordination or project delivery, along with a solid understanding of government processes and policy implementation, will set you up for success.
We're looking for a proactive professional who excels in managing competing priorities, delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure, and adapting quickly to change in a fast-paced environment.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Please refer to the full role description for more details.
