Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is looking for a Customer Experience and Inside Sales Representative for their Australian head office in Norwest, Sydney. The chosen candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers and will work closely with our sales representatives to fulfil orders and maintain strong relationships with our key distributors.

About the role

  • Process, edit and interpret customer orders received via phone, email, fax, and web
  • Resolving customer queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop external relationships with core distributors to maximise customer experience
  • Prepare and process quotes and proposals in conjunction with the sales team
  • Review daily back-order reports and advise customers of any lead time changes
  • Recognise product add-on opportunities during order review
  • Work with shipping to ensure orders are shipped on time and correctly
  • Organise freight with customers and shipping and ensure on-time delivery
  • Initiate tracing procedures for lost or delayed shipments
  • Liaise with other departments within the business to ensure maximum customer service performance
  • Outbound calling and follow-up of opportunities generated internally (tracked through CRM)

About you:

  • 3+ years in customer a service-related role
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Attention to detail and highly accurate
  • Self-motivated and target driven
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with ERP systems preferable
  • Experience with Salesforce preferable
  • Experience with conveyor-related products highly regarded
  • Internal Sales experience preferable
  • eCommerce platform experience preferable
