Responsibilities- Achieve monthly sales goals and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Sells Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) to potential new and existing customers by discussing Dexcom products and the value of CGM.
- Maintain a business relationship with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate document collection required for patient initiation.
- Collaborate with field sales representatives in the execution of sales activities and territory management follow-up.
- Utilize CRM for communication and management of the customer database.
- Answer incoming calls, place outbound calls, and respond to emails in a timely manner; document all correspondence in CRM and Outlook calendar.
- Assist customers with ordering processes.
- Prepare correspondence to be distributed to HCPs, consumers, and internal colleagues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to orders and sales inquiries.
- Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities; explain and demonstrate product features.
- Expand and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
- Stay informed about competing products and services.
- Strong customer service focus; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Amenable phone manner and effective listening ability.
- Ability to maintain a pleasant demeanor in a highly productive team environment.
- Outgoing, confident, and self-motivated; team-focused and results-driven.
- Flexible, willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment; solid and reliable work ethic.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Competent technical skills; unrestricted work rights within Australia.
- Previous sales or customer service experience in the medical or related industry.
- Knowledge of Diabetes is a plus; ability to understand medical jargon and interpret clinical information.
- No travel required as it is an office-based position.
- Flexibility to accompany the field sales team to in-field appointments and events as required and directed by management.
