Responsibilities
  • Achieve the revenue, gross profit and market-share targets in line with Company directives and objectives.
  • Analyse and monitor the performance of the customer base to identify areas of opportunity and to pre-empt customer issues.
  • Provide a point of contact for Customer enquiries, expedites and concerns.
  • Achieve set metrics for outbound cold call activity and forecasting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure punctuality to all internal and external meetings online.
  • Support vendor marketing initiatives by delivering them to the customer base.
  • Report back to Westcon Comstor management on relevant market information.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the vendor product and strategy to be able to effectively support customers.
  • Attend all relevant product briefings and updates.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • IT sales selling experience within a mix of Cloud, Software testing, data communications, security and networking technology markets ideal.
  • 2-3 years equivalent previous experience in a customer service or internal and/or sales role.
  • Intermediate level of skills in Office programs such as MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Good sales administrative skills with attention to detail and good follow-up.
  • Excellent phone manner and cold calling skills.
