About Us

JWC Building Co is a trusted local builder specialising in home renovations, extensions, decks, pergolas, and fencing. We're passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and personalised service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and experienced Business Manager to work closely with the owner to drive projects from start to finish.

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll be at the heart of operations. You'll be working directly with the business owner, clients, suppliers, and trades to ensure smooth delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Visiting clients, preparing quotes, and managing client relationships
  • Completing detailed take-offs and ordering materials
  • Scheduling projects and creating programs
  • Booking and coordinating subcontractors and trades
  • Assisting with project management and overseeing site progress
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and efficiency

About You

We're seeking someone with a strong background in carpentry or building who's ready to step into a management role. You'll need to be organised, confident in dealing with clients and trades, and motivated to help take the business to the next level.

Skills & Experience

  • Carpentry or building trade background (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction and renovations
  • Experience in quoting, scheduling, and ordering materials
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
