About the Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our successful team in our Bundaberg Branch.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients.
You will be joining a successful, supportive and experienced team, that provides a conducive environment for professional growth, collaboration and success.
Your tasks
- Servicing customers to both meet current requirements and develop further opportunities.
- Achieving sales and gross profit growth through the generation of leads and new business development.
- Promoting long term business partnerships with key customers by understanding their objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes.
- Recommending technically competent solutions to customers.
- Preparing and submitting quotes to customers.

About You
- Mining or Heavy Engineering Industry experience.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve targets.
- A valid driver's license and a desire to develop your career within the business.

Berendsen Fluid Power Pty Ltd is Australia's largest, provider of hydraulic solutions and services, with an in-house engineering and design division, an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing facility, and a nationwide network of world-class repair and service centres capable of providing an integrated service for the full lifecycle of hydraulic systems.
Berendsen operates ten fully equipped repair centres across five states, with a combined workshop floor area over 20,000 m2, supporting Australian industry for over 30 years in the form of design, supply and installation of turnkey hydraulic systems, manufacture of special purpose hydraulic cylinders and HIC manifolds, importation and distribution of replacement parts, and a key focus on critical maintenance services for a broad range of hydraulic applications, including hydraulic cylinder overhaul and service exchange.
