Sales and Customer Support
to our internal team and customers. Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving health outcomes through authoritative, practical, and independent therapeutic guidance.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support key internal workloads and contribute directly to customer satisfaction and sales efficiency. We need someone who can hit the ground running

The Role: Sales / Customer Support Temp

Location: North Melbourne

Duration: Immediate start - Initial 3 month contract

You will be the vital link between our customers and our Sales team, handling a variety of communication and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Communication & Support

  • Handle incoming customer calls
    , including acting as call overflow when the main representative is unavailable.
  • Manage customer issues
    or questions regarding our products and services with professionalism and clarity.
  • Respond promptly
    to customer inquiries, aiming for a
    2-hour turnaround
    or immediate action where possible, adhering to agreed SLAs.
  • Assist with the
    customer renewal process
    and respond to general institutional inquiries.
  • Support
    customer onboarding
    and related setup tasks.

Sales Support

  • Manage the shared Sales inbox
    (averaging 15-35 emails daily, with occasional peaks).
  • Field
    incoming sales calls
    (typically 5-15 per day, sometimes up to 30+).
  • Prepare, generate, and send
    quotes, proposals, and follow-up correspondence
    .
  • Conduct
    outbound and follow-up sales calls
    as directed by the team.
  • Accurately
    record and track
    customer enquiries, sales activities, and feedback in our system.

General Support & Professionalism

  • Maintain
    high standards of customer service and professionalism
    in all interactions.
  • Actively contribute ideas to
    improve the efficiency and consistency
    of our sales and customer support processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Customer Service, Sales Support, or Administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication skills
    .
  • A
    proactive, 'can-do' attitude
    with a commitment to high engagement
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines (SLAs).
  • Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
