The Role

Working from our West Melbourne showroom and warehouse, we are looking for a full-time and a part-time Sales and Marketing Graduates with a can do attitude to join our team. We pride ourselves on the high standard of services to our customers. These two positions will further strengthen and maintain our high standards in other areas as well. This role requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with relevant experience who has a drive to succeed and a desire to develop hands-on experience in small business. Interest in astronomy and the outdoors is extremely beneficial for your application but not required. All successful applicants are required to work on some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for our retail stores, end -consumers, and other general marketing queries and support
  • Be a part of a close-knit sales team that works tenaciously to offer personalised and outstanding levels of sales and customer support
  • Be a part of the Marketing Team to develop, execute sales and marketing activities across multiple platforms including online search engines, social media, comparison sites, forums, magazines, events, etc
  • Assist in planning, implementing and reporting on ROI for marketing campaign and events
  • Manage website CMS and images, as well as optimization and social media
  • Infiltrate new market segments with our products, expand our brand presence in the market place, and increase sales volume
  • Take care of the entire customer experience from pre-sales, picking and packing to sales support.
  • Responsible for inventory management – from procurement, processing, receiving stock, picking and packing and dispatch.

Key Skill Requirements

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to communicate with customers from all backgrounds and varying interests
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail and customers orientated personality
  • Passionate and keen to learn and able to apply knowledge base in supporting our retailers and customers
  • Proven interpersonal skills, including negotiation, problem solving and dispute resolution
  • Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and multi-task effectively.
  • Experience with Magento 2, Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Experience with Social Media, particularly Facebook, TikTok and Instagram
