Our Company

ATS Building Products is one of Australia's largest importers of building materials, timber, and engineered wood products.

Due to continued growth, we require an additional Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on site based at our Northmead head office.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have a broad range of responsibilities including:

  • Communicating with and collecting debt from clients

  • Monitoring ongoing debtor Payment Plans

  • Achieving monthly debt collection target

  • Answering incoming query calls

  • Resolving customer queries and issues

  • Processing invoices and credit notes

  • Coordinating credit applications and reference checks

  • Preparing complex account reconciliations as required

  • Performing other ad-hoc finance tasks and projects as needed

  • Comply with ATS Building Products policies and procedures surrounding Chain of Custody and Forest Stewardship Council requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of credit/accounts receivable experience

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Experience in large ERP systems and Excel (intermediate level is essential)

  • Attention to detail and accurate

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
